ABOUT JUDE SIEGEL

A teacher for many decades, as well as an artist and naturalist, Jude has given classes to children and adults in the Portland area, ( Multnomah Art Center, Audubon, Sitka Center for Art and Ecology, as well as many other places, where students combine the joy of being in nature, with the unique way of expressing that a Nature Journal affords. 

Jude has found that doing art, and spending time in nature, doing art, has brought joy, satisfaction, and a creative way to transform  the complexity of emotions, of being a human in a world that is unpredictable, confusing and discomforting at times, and to allow for something that is beneficial to personal calm.

Her book, A Pacific Northwest Nature Sketchbook was published by Timber Press 2006.
